Welcome to Soñador. By using www.sonador.co.uk or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1) Who we are & how to contact us

These Terms apply to business customers (retailers, designers, contract buyers). You confirm you are 18+ and authorised to bind the business you represent.

2) Accounts & website access

  • Approval required: Pricing and ordering are available to approved accounts.
  • Account security: Keep logins confidential; you’re responsible for activity under your account.
  • Suspension: We may suspend or withdraw access if these Terms are breached or for security reasons.

3) Products, specifications & samples

  • Made to order: Most goods are made to order. Minor variations in colour, grain and dimensions may occur within normal tolerances.
  • Descriptions: We aim for accuracy and may correct errors or omissions.
  • Customisation: Bespoke sizes, fabrics and finishes become final once production starts.

4) Quotes, orders & contract formation

  • Quotes are usually valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
  • Your order is an offer; a binding contract forms when we send an Order Confirmation.
  • Changes after confirmation are subject to feasibility and may affect timing and cost.

5) Pricing, VAT & payment

  • Prices are in GBP (£), exclusive of VAT unless stated. Delivery and any surcharges are shown on your quotation / order confirmation.
  • Payment methods: major cards and bank transfer.
  • Payment timing: As stated on your quotation / order confirmation. We may hold shipment where payment has not been received.

6) Delivery

  • We’ll confirm the estimated lead time and delivery details with your order. Delivery is to the address on your order; please ensure safe access and an authorised signatory on site.
  • If your site or delivery details change, please tell us before the scheduled date.

7) Inspection & claims

Please inspect on delivery. If anything is damaged, missing or incorrect, contact us promptly with photos of the packaging and product so we can verify and resolve (repair, replacement or credit).

8) Returns & cancellations

  • As goods are made to order, returns are handled for faulty or incorrect items only.
  • RMA required: Email sales@sonador.co.uk for an RMA before returning any item; unauthorised returns will be refused.
  • Cancellations: Once production has begun, cancellation may incur an admin/production fee and any costs for bespoke components already in progress.

9) Warranty

Warranties apply as stated on the product page or your agreement. Unless specified otherwise: bed frames/headboards – 5 years (manufacturing defects); mattresses – 1 year. Excludes normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, improper assembly, unauthorised repairs or use beyond intended purpose. Our remedy may be repair, replacement or refund.

10) Marketing assets & brand use

We grant approved partners a limited, revocable licence to use Soñador product names, images and descriptions solely to market genuine Soñador products. Follow our brand guidelines and remove assets on request. No ownership or broader IP rights are transferred.

11) Website use & intellectual property

  • All site content (designs, images, text, code) is our or our licensors’ intellectual property. You may not copy, modify or redistribute except as permitted in clause 10.
  • Do not misuse the site (e.g., introduce malware, scrape, or attempt unauthorised access).

12) Force majeure

We aren’t liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., strikes, extreme weather, transport disruption, raw-material shortages, government action). We’ll resume performance as soon as practicable.

13) Liability

  • Nothing limits liability for death/personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
  • Subject to the above, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, data or any indirect or consequential loss.
  • Our aggregate liability for a claim arising from a contract is limited to the price paid for the goods concerned.

14) Compliance

You agree to comply with applicable laws (including product safety, anti-bribery, modern slavery and data protection) and to provide accurate VAT/invoicing information.

15) Privacy & cookies

Your personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy (see site footer). Service emails (order updates, legal notices) may still be sent if you opt out of marketing.

16) Assignment & third parties

  • We may assign or subcontract our rights/obligations.
  • You may not assign without our consent.
  • No third party has rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

17) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the site at the time of your order applies to that order.

18) Governing law & disputes

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Please contact us first so we can resolve issues quickly.
